Creating an all-in-one app might be a very big and ongoing task, but Elon Musk and his team seem very determined to do it. They’ve already taken a step by renaming Twitter to X, and an interview with X Corp CEO, Linda Yaccarino, shows this.

“The rebrand represented really a liberation from Twitter,” X CEO Linda Yaccarino tells @SaraEisen. “A liberation that allowed us to evolve past a legacy mindset.” https://t.co/rGXVhef6PL pic.twitter.com/v4xr9IH5X0

In an interview on CNBC, the CEO of X confirmed that they’re adding video calls to the platform. This means you can make video calls on X without needing the person’s phone number. In line with what Yaccarino said, a designer at X named Andrea Conway shared about this new feature on X. She mentioned that she had just made a call using X.

Linda Yaccarino became the CEO a few months ago. She teamed up with Elon Musk to change Twitter into something called X, which is like an app for everything. Ever since Elon Musk bought Twitter, he’s been talking about making it a place where people can say what they want, do lots of things like buying and selling, making money as creators, and basically making it a big worldwide market.
