In December 2022, OpenAI launched its ChatGPT service. The artificial intelligence robot has continued to generate a great deal of buzz around the world months after its launch. A man has come up with an intelligent clock that uses ChatGPT to create little poems which can tell the time.

“I’ve made a clock for my bookcase that’s AI! It’s writing new poems every minute on ChatGPT, and it strangely has a very energetic feel that I love,” Matt Web wrote in one of his Twitter posts. In an interview, Webb said he’d been playing with OpenAI’s language models for some time. The clock, he said, is connected via an ancient Inky wHAT screen and to the Raspberry Pi that had been built into a standard text clock before.

A few months ago, the tweet was shared. The share has been viewed more than 8.4 million times since it was posted. In addition, over 6,000 likes were collected from the tweet. When the tweet came out, people were commenting on it in different ways.

Matt Webb claims to have tested the language model of OpenAI and come up with a connection between these two. Matt shared pictures of the tool and spoke about how to use an artificial intelligence system on his verified Twitter account. The developer claims that, in addition to the old Inka What screen and a Raspberry Pi he’s been set up as an ongoing text clock, his AI clock is fueled by one of those screens.
