Samsung is reportedly working on a mixed-reality headset, a venture reminiscent of Apple’s Vision Pro. This project shrouded in speculation and ongoing discussions, holds intriguing details that are gradually surfacing. As anticipation builds, Samsung’s upcoming launch events in the coming year promise to unveil the mysteries surrounding this mixed-reality headset.

According to a 9To5Google report, Samsung’s XR headset might make its debut in late 2024, coinciding with the release of Apple’s Vision Pro. Previous media report indicates a collaboration between Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm in crafting this mixed-reality device. Initially slated for release this year, the launch was deferred following the revelation of Apple’s competing product.

Dubbed ‘Infiniet’” by insiders, the launch of Samsung’s mixed-reality headset remains uncertain, but its official debut is anticipated in the coming year.

In a separate development, Samsung has introduced its generative AI model, Samsung Gauss, at the AI Forum 2023. Comprising three tools, Samsung Gauss Language, Samsung Gauss Code, and Samsung Gauss Image, this set of AI models marks Samsung’s stride into the realm of artificial intelligence.
