Samsung is poised to introduce the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in the upcoming year. Much like its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S24 lineup is anticipated to comprise three distinct devices. Specifications for the Galaxy S24 Ultra were recently disclosed via a leak last month. This leak unveiled that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 System-on-Chip (SoC), an impressive 200MP camera, and a robust 5,000mAh battery.
As we eagerly await the official launch, it’s worth noting that the Galaxy S24 series has now obtained 3C certification in China. The 3C listing has provided insights into the model numbers and fast-charging capabilities of the lineup in advance of its release.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Expected features
According to the 3C certification, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 (SM-S9210) will support 25W fast charging, while the Galaxy S24+ (SM-S9260) and Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S9280) will offer 45W fast charging. Additionally, all models in the Galaxy S24 series will feature 5G support. Beyond these fast charging and model number details, the 3C listing doesn’t provide any additional information.
These details from the 3C certification suggest that the Galaxy S24 series will maintain a similar charging speed to the previous Galaxy S23 series, with no significant upgrades. A previous leak also indicated that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a flat-screen design, departing from the curved screen of its predecessor.
Additional information from tipster Ice Universe revealed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have dimensions of 162.3 x 79 x 8.6mm and a 200MP primary camera, along with a possible 50MP telephoto camera and a 10MP periscope lens on the back.
It’s anticipated that the Galaxy S24 lineup will debut with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 SoC, depending on the market. Storage options may vary, with the Galaxy S24 and S24+ offering up to 512GB of internal storage, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra could offer up to 1TB.
In related news, the US version of the Galaxy S24+ appeared on Geekbench in July, confirming it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC codenamed ‘pineapple’ and will come with 8GB of RAM. The benchmark results showed single-core and multi-core scores of 2223 and 6661, respectively.
