Xiaomi’s much-anticipated Redmi K70 series, comprising three models – the Redmi K70e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro, is on the horizon, generating excitement among tech enthusiasts. While Xiaomi has not officially unveiled the exact launch date, a recent report offers valuable insights into the expected timeframe for the debut of this highly-awaited series.
Redmi K70 Series Launch Timeline
The highly-anticipated Redmi K70 series is expected to make its debut in China during the initial week of December 2023, according to a recent report by Xiaomiui. The report suggests that this launch date has been hinted at through the MIUI 15 software versions, which are built upon Android 14.
The Redmi K70 series comprises three models: the Redmi K70E (with model number 23113RKC6C), Redmi K70 (model number 2311DRK48C), and Redmi K70 Pro (model number 23117RK66C). These devices are set to run on MIUI 15, based on Android 14, straight out of the box.
The company is actively engaged in testing the Android 14-based MIUI 15 on the Chinese ROM. Once this testing phase is successfully completed, Xiaomi will officially introduce the Redmi K70 series to the public in China. As of now, there is no information available regarding the series’ release in India. However, if it does make its way to the Indian market, it is expected to be marketed under the POCO branding.
Notably, earlier reports had suggested that the series might be unveiled in China as early as October, making its actual launch in December a notable development. Meanwhile, the forthcoming Redmi K70 Pro made a notable appearance on the Geekbench website, offering a glimpse into its powerful specifications.
