During the ChinaJoy event, Realme made an exciting announcement confirming the upcoming launch of their GT5 series. This comes right after the release of GT 2 earlier this year, as they decided to skip the GT 3 and GT 4 versions.

Realme GT5 equals GT Neo 6

Recent leaks have shed light on the upcoming GT5 series, particularly the Realme GT Neo6, which was previously surfaced in renders and listed on TENAA. According to reliable sources like OnLeaks, it has been revealed that the Realme GT Neo6 will indeed be launched as the Realme GT5. This gives us a glimpse of the phone’s design and some of its key specifications before the official launch. Excitement builds as fans anticipate the entry of the new Realme GT5 into the Android performance arena.

Expected features

Realme GT5 will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 1450 nits peak brightness, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It will run on an Octa-Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB LPDDR5X RAM options and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB internal storage options.

The device will have a 50MP rear camera with a 1/1.56″ Sony IMX890 sensor, OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera along with a 2MP macro camera and a 16MP front-facing camera.

The GT5 will feature a 5160mAh (typical) / 5080mAh (minimum) battery and 150W SuperVOOC fast charging, while the GT5 240W version may come with a 4600mAh (typical) / 4450mAh (minimum) battery and 240W SuperVOOC fast charging.
