Google has officially revealed the launch date for the Pixel Watch 2 and the Pixel 8 series. According to invitations distributed by the company, both the Google Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro are set to debut on October 4. Additionally, at this same event, the tech giant is expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 2.
Google Pixel 8 Series
Regarding the essential specifications, the upcoming Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are expected to be equipped with the Tensor G3 SoC. Moreover, rumours suggest that these devices will incorporate the Titan security chip. The Pixel 8 is likely to sport a 6.2-inch display, while the Pixel 8 Pro may offer a more expansive 6.71-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Leaked renders indicate that the Pixel 8 will feature a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.

The Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to boast a triple-camera arrangement, a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, a 64MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 48MP telephoto camera. On the front, the phone is rumored to house an 11MP selfie camera featuring a Samsung JN1 sensor.
Google Pixel Watch 2
In addition to the smartphones, Google may introduce the successor to the Pixel Watch, known as the Pixel Watch 2, during its October event. The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to retain a circular dial with two physical buttons on the side, akin to the original Pixel Watch.
Furthermore, the Watch 2 is slated to be powered by a Snapdragon W5 chipset and 2GB of RAM. Leaks have also unveiled a 383×384 pixel resolution display for the smartwatch, along with four new watch faces, namely Accessible, Arc, Analog Bold, and Bold Digital.
