Motorola is gearing up for the release of a new smartphone in India. The company recently disclosed that it is launching the Moto G84 5G smartphone on September 1, with availability for purchase through Flipkart. This announcement was conveyed through a post on X (formerly Twitter), in which Motorola highlighted that the upcoming smartphone will boast a colour palette curated by Pantone.

Ahead of the launch event, let’s take a look at the expected features that we may see in Moto G84 5G.

Expected features

The device will be available in Pantone-curated colours, including the Viva Magenta, which coincides with Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2023. Other colour choices are Marshmallow Blue and Midnight Blue, with the Viva Magenta variant featuring a vegan leather finish.

The phone may boast a 6.55-inch pOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and a punch-hole camera design.

The Moto G84 5G may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

For optics, the phone may house a triple rear camera system within a vertically stacked module. This setup may comprise a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP macro vision + depth sensor.

Other than this, we may see a 5,000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging support.
