In December, Musk, who acquired Twitter for $44 billion in October, announced his intention to step down as CEO once he found a suitable replacement. He stated that he would oversee Twitter’s software and server teams afterward. The Wall Street Journal reported that Yaccarino was being considered for the top position, citing insiders.

According to anonymous sources, a Silicon Valley executive and a former Hollywood executive, Linda Yaccarino maybe Musk’s choice to manage Twitter, as reported by Reuters. Yaccarino, NBCUniversal’s top advertising sales executive, spoke with Musk at a recent advertising convention in Miami and commended his work ethic, encouraging the audience to applaud his arrival.
