The iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro are gearing up for their debut in China on November 7th, both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Notably, an India launch has also been teased by the company, generating excitement among potential users.

iQOO 12 Series: Expected features and specs

The iQOO 12 is expected to be equipped with the new Q1 e-sports chip, promising an enhanced gaming experience for users. Furthermore, the flagship series will sport an impressive 1/1.3-inch primary sensor featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support.

It is anticipated that the base model will offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, there are two additional configurations in the lineup, offering 16GB of RAM with a choice between 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. There may also be a special edition with a whopping 1TB of storage.

For optics, the iQOO 12 series is expected to feature a triple-camera setup including a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. The iQOO 12 Pro is likely to maintain the same camera configuration, with the exception of a periscope sensor replacing the telephoto lens.

India launch date

Excitingly, the iQOO 12 is confirmed to launch in India, as revealed by a teaser shared by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya. This launch marks a significant milestone, as it will be the first smartphone in India to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

While the specific launch date in the Indian market is yet to be disclosed, earlier leaks suggest that the smartphone is likely to hit the Indian shelves by the end of November or in December, drawing considerable anticipation among Indian consumers.
