In contrast, the evaluation for Samsung phones encompasses a slightly earlier time frame, spanning from August 11th to October 20th. This distinct timeline sheds light on the consistent and commendable 5G performance exhibited by iPhones, particularly during the more recent period of scrutiny compared to their Samsung counterparts.

In India, Ookla’s Speedtest Intelligence data between September 22nd and October 20th, 2023, reveals significant 5G speed improvements in three out of four iPhone 15 models compared to their iPhone 14 counterparts. The iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Plus demonstrated enhanced median 5G download speeds.
The iPhone 15 Plus stood out with the highest median download speeds at an impressive 335.09 Mbps, surpassing competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and other Apple and Samsung models. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 led in median 5G upload speeds with a score of 21.95 Mbps. This data underscores the iPhone 15 series’ dominance in providing superior 5G connectivity experiences in the Indian market.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max leads the pack with an impressive median 5G downlink speed of 285.02Mbps and a median uplink speed of 18.26Mbps. Following closely, the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro secure the second and third positions with downlink speeds of 275.48Mbps and 268.99Mbps, respectively. The iPhone 15 takes the fourth spot with a notable 5G downlink speed of 249.30Mbps, solidifying the series’ exceptional performance in delivering high-speed 5G connectivity experiences in the US.
