The survey also highlights the remarkable trajectory of the iPhone’s appeal among teenagers over the last decade. In 2013, only 55 percent of teens owned an iPhone, while 24 percent preferred Android devices. This shift underscores Apple’s strong brand appeal among younger consumers.
Apple Watch adoption is also on the rise, with 34 percent of teenagers now owning one, up from 31 percent in the previous year. Among mobile payment apps, Apple Pay is the top choice for teenagers, with 42 percent reporting its use in the past month, surpassing competitors like Cash App (27 percent), Venmo (20 percent), and PayPal (10 percent). The figure doesn’t account for the Indian market where iPhone is not as prevalent owing to its higher costing.
