Numerous leaks and rumours have surrounded these forthcoming smartphones in recent months, with the latest leak revealing potential camera specifications.
According to a recent report, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to sport a 48-megapixel primary rear sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, a significant improvement over the 12-megapixel primary sensor found in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Additionally, they are rumoured to include a secondary 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens boasting an f/2.4 aperture.

In contrast, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models are anticipated to feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX803 primary rear sensor with an f/1.78 aperture, a 12.7-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens at f/2.8 aperture, and a 13.4-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens at f/2.2 aperture. The top-tier iPhone Pro Max may also incorporate a periscopic telephoto lens.
For users in India, there’s optimism that they may get their hands on the iPhone 15 on the same day as its global release, thanks to the Make in India campaign. It’s believed that locally manufactured iPhone 15 models may launch concurrently with the global release, possibly with minimal delays.
