Previous rumors circulated by an anonymous Twitter account forecasted the iPhone models that will lose support with iOS 17. Now, a new report provides the list of supported models for the forthcoming software update. Three iPad models may lose support with iPadOS 17 according to a report by iPhoneSoft. The most recent report confirms the previous rumor and details the iPad models that will no longer be compatible with iPadOS 17.

The report advises users to note that iPad models released after 2017 are anticipated to be compatible with iPadOS 17. However, older models typically do not support the most recent features as well as capabilities that will be included in the impending software. The report indicates that three iPad models will no longer be compatible with iOS 17 once the new software is distributed to users. iPad 5th gen, 9.7-inch iPad Pro 1st gen, and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 1st gen are the three models in question.
