Samsung has recently unveiled its latest foldable lineup, introducing the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. However, the buzz now revolves around rumours of more cost-effective foldable offerings from Samsung, which could potentially join the ‘FE’ lineup. Samsung’s ‘Fan Edition’ series has been known for featuring flagship Galaxy S series phones at more accessible price points.
Samsung is in the works to launch a ‘Galaxy Z FE,’ which will serve as a lighter variant of either the Fold or Flip models. While the specifications, features, and hardware might be toned down compared to the flagship counterparts, the aim is to retain a flagship-like experience, building on the success of previous FE models.

The rumor originates from tipster Revegnus, who shared this information on X. However, enthusiasts looking for a pocket-friendly foldable might need to exercise patience, as the launch is projected to take place only after the introduction of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, which are expected next year. This means potential customers will have to wait at least a year for the Galaxy Z FE to become a reality.
The same tipster also hinted at the impending launch of the Galaxy S23 FE. Much speculation has been circulating regarding the Galaxy S23 FE, with various indicators pointing towards its imminent arrival. The phone’s presence on the BIS certification site further suggests its impending launch in India.
